My name is Matt Hayward, and I’m a writer. I write solely for fun and my own fullfilment, although I am in the process (slow as it may be) of writing a novel. This blog is about my journey as a writer.

A lot of my writing is done in the form of roleplaying which is also my favourite hobby. So, perhaps to be more accurate, I’m more of a collaborative writer. Enjoying fiction, my personal preference, for both reading and writing is the Fantasy genre. I grew up reading the likes of David Eddings and many other authors. I was a regular at my school’s library andprobably had borrowed nearly all their Fantasy novels at one point or other.

It was around the age of nine that I found the enjoyment of writing. And in the nearly fourteen years since then, I’ve found fun and enjoyment in writing fiction, poetry (not that I’m too good at it, mind), essays. Hopefully, I will be able to add blogs to that list.
